Allure Dental Center – Give Back a Smile Program

This program was designed by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation (AACDCF) to restore the lives of domestic abuse survivors at no cost to the victims.
Through the “Give Back A Smile program,” AACD members assist survivors by treating their dental injuries sustained from domestic violence, so that they may reclaim their smiles, their self-esteem and, ultimately, their lives. Domestic violence survivors know that bruises and scars will fade but broken and missing teeth will not. To help them, generous dentists who are members of AACD work to restore the smiles at no cost. As leading San Jose dental implants and crowns specialists and esteemed AACD members, Drs. Lee and Lee have helped numerous abuse victims restore their smiles and their lives.
Drs. Trinh Lee and Dr. Suzanna Lee are among the 275 Accredited Members out of 8,000 AACD members who have been donating their expertise, time and specialized training to give back to the community.
In July 2001, the AACD was one of only eight organizations in the world to receive the Award of Excellence and the prestigious Associations Advance America Summit Award for its “Give Back a Smile” program. The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) of Washington, D.C, sponsors this yearly national competition to recognize charitable organizations that make the greatest effort to advance the American society. To date, “Give Back A Smile” has restored the smiles of more than 500 domestic violence survivors for a total dollar value of more than $4 million.
