The Allure Dental Center in Mountain View cares about the community and recently participated in the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Silicon Valley” Fund Raising Walk on October 28th in San Jose.

Although Breast Cancer Awareness Month was in October, it’s still important to be aware of the symptoms and the signs of breast cancer. Early detection is the key when it comes to the outcome of your treatment plan should you be diagnosed with breast cancer.

With early detection, there is a five-year survival rate of 98 percent. It’s important to conduct regular breast examinations on yourself, and contact your primary care physician should you notice anything abnormal.

The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Silicon Valley was a huge success with hundreds of thousands of dollars being raised at the event. Dr. Suzanna Lee and Dr. Trinh Lee and the rest of the team from the Allure Dental Center in Mountain View walked the walk and talked the talk by promoting breast cancer awareness.

The Allure Dental Center even designed, ordered and passed out custom “Team Allure Dental Center” T-shirts to over 40 office team members and their family and friends. The Allure Dental Center is located in Mountain Valley and prides itself on participating in community events and worthy causes.

Dr. Trinh Lee, an Accredited Fellow with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and her sister Dr. Suzanna Lee, an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry recently returned from Vietnam where they provided health care to hundreds of people in the impoverished areas of the country.
